How to execute Standing Barbell Curls.

To do Standing Barbell Curls, Begin Standing tall with your feet about hip-width apart. 


  • Hold one dumbbell in each hand. Keep your upper arms stable and shoulders relaxed, then curl the barbell up to shoulder level. 

  • Squeeze your biceps hard at the top, then slowly lower the barbell back to the starting position. 

  • Make sure to keep your chest up and your elbows tight to your sides.

Biceps brachii

Secondary:

Brachialis, Brachioradialis, Anterior Deltoid, Forearm muscles (Wrist flexors, finger flexors)
